Hi, I’m Agnes, a writer-director based in Munich and Vienna. I was born in Vienna and grew up in the Austrian countryside, specifically in Kobersdorf, Burgenland. My storytelling journey began with music and performance art. As a co-founder of the Vienna-based theatre collective Scheinwerfer, I directed and wrote my first plays.

My work focuses on themes like emancipation, belonging, and a good life for all, while always looking for humor in everyday situations. I believe a better world is possible if we make it a priority.

Since 2022, I’ve been studying feature film directing at the University of Television and Film Munich. I also hold a Master’s degree in Political Science.
